  This place is awesome. Old school hardware store with a staff that knows what they are talking about. If your a real DYI person put this place at the top of your list.

  I've been going to Don's for many years now, and I've always been impressed by the level of knowledge of all of the employees. One of them once found me a $15 part that allowed me to fix my old furnace and saved me hundreds in repair costs!
  
  This time, our bathroom fan went on the fritz and when I got around to replacing it, I couldn't find anything at the big box stores that would work for our bathroom or that I felt I could easily install. I came to Don's and one of the employees, while showing me the fans, suggested just replacing the motor instead of the whole housing and fan. I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW THIS WAS A THING! I brought up the mount/motor and one of the gentlemen at the parts counter removed the old motor, installed the new one, rewired a new plug, and cleaned the fan blades in a matter of minutes, and it cost me $30 less than buying a new full fan kit!
  
  These guys really know what they're doing and they're all very nice. I've never left feeling dumber than when I walked in or had questions that didn't get answered. This store really is the last of it's kind and no other hardware store comes close to their level of expertise or service.
