  We went to Hofbrauhaus for dinner with my brother and his wife on an early Sunday afternoon. We all loved the Bavarian atmosphere. While it was to cold to enjoy that day the outdoor seating area looked like it would be a great option when Spring decides to show up. The food was very good. Especially the deluxe pretzel with a side of beer cheese and the sausage loaf. The beer was good but expensive, I like 4 Hands and 4204 better. Definitely a great place to go for a fun German-style outing.

  We got there as soon as it opened on Sunday and was able to get sat right away. Our drinks and food came quickly. We didn't have a long wait for anything but we planned ahead. It is new still so much of the staff is still learning the ways. Our waitress, while very new and not very knowledgeable about the menu, she was very nice. The food that we had was delicious. Potato pancakes were good. The sausages were good but small. Be prepared for small skinny sausage. The schnitzel was delicious. The potato salad was cold and we are used to hot German potato salad so it wasn't our favorite. We had a good experience. But this is not your typical American chain restaurant so do not go with that expectation. If you have an open mind, patience and a taste for German food you will enjoy yourself. We will definitely be back again.
